Artist Seo Eun-hye, who paints Korean wildflowers, has been selected to exhibit her work on the big screen in New York's Times Square for the second consecutive year.

According to the Busan art community on July 4, Seo was selected as one of 12 artists from around the world to participate in the 'Art Forum: No Boundaries' exhibition organized by Vision Art Media, and had the opportunity to display her work as video art on the big screen in New York Times Square on July 19.

This is the second year in a row that Seo has been honored with the selection, as she was the first Korean artist to be included in the exhibition last year and was selected again this year.

Three works from her “Korean Wildflowers” series on display included two from “Secret Flower Garden” and one from “Flower Outing,” which is an enlargement of a wildflower.

Seo lyrically composes wildflowers with Korean sentiments on canvas and expresses them with Western painting techniques using Western painting materials and thick matiere.

Seo received the Insadong People's Artist of the Year Award in 2021 and the Young Artist of the Year Award and the Artist of the Day Award from the 22nd Busan Art Association in 2023. She is currently a steering committee member of the Busan Art Association and the president of the Busan chapter of the International Association of Contemporary Art.
