Korean SME Ripresa, led by CEO Lee Kyungsun, which aims to capture the global market as a luxury brand along with France's Gensi Group, the world's top luxury good maker, has been working on technology development for golf shoes and casual shoes.

The company that produces such top-class items is Korean SME Ripresa, a domestic startup founded in 2017 by developer Chairman Rhee jinsup, which has the world's only leather color and dye design technology. The company produces leather products such as golf shoes and leather shoes by dyeing and designing raw leather in color.

"We want to challenge the global market as a luxury brand with our unique original technology."

Chairman Rhee jinsup, who developed the color leather with the world's original technology, says that the color natural leather fabric is actually developed with nuclear fusion composite engineering chemical technology that combines semiconductor quantum dot expression physics technology and carbon nanotube technology.

Chairman Lee has worked on the R&D of calla lambskin at Chanel's Gensi Group, where he was in charge of fashion design development, and at Giorgio Armani's Florence factory, where he completed casual shoes, golf shoes, and fashion week. Lee said he was offered a huge amount of technology transfer from the world's leading companies, but he turned them down in favor of creating Korean masterpieces.

The world's original technology, collar leather, is even more significant in that it was developed for the first time in the world in a situation where European countries, which can be said to be advanced in the leather field, have not found a solution despite years of efforts, and the effect of the technology is expected to have a major impact not only on the Korean leather industry but also on the global leather processing market of about 120 trillion won (about 1,300 trillion won when including sewing products). The scale of added value that can be created in the future is expected to be even greater, as the company is currently being requested by a number of foreign luxury goods companies to sign exclusive supply contracts.

By researching dye transfer technology instead of the existing monochromatic leather products, we have compensated for the shortcomings of leather, which is vulnerable to water and scratches.

In addition, the technology is characterized by the ability to apply various patterns and colors to not only natural leather but also artificial leather without smearing dyes.

One company that has taken notice of this Korean-developed technology is Gensi Group (Pigliacampo Gennaro). Gensi Group is a handmade shoe company based in Giulianova, a coastal city in central Italy. It produces and supplies only handmade footwear for the world's top luxury brands, including Chanel, Hermès, Dolce & Gabbana, and others.

"At our first meeting, Gensi Group offered to produce high-end shoes for us, and we have been processing leather materials in Korea and have accumulated a certain amount of inventory," said Lee Kyungsun, CEO of Ripresa. "In the future, we plan to produce 500,000 pairs a year and supply domestic and international duty-free shops and department stores."

Mr. Alfredo Dami, Chief Designer (Responsabile Modelleria) of Gensi Group, was the first to recognize the potential of Ripresa.

"Colored leather shoes are a great idea that doesn't have a global success story," says Mr. Dami. In particular, children's colored shoes are a perfect fit for Ripresa's materials. The quality of the leather is so good that we can make a lot of different designs," said Mr. Dami. "We expect Ripresa to grow into a big global brand.

Gensi Group has also produced a video titled "RIPRESA ITALY," which shows the process of making sample shoes on YouTube.

Meanwhile, Gensi Group was acquired by Chanel in 2015 and currently holds an 80% stake in the company. The Givenchy Group began as a factory specializing in high-end handmade shoes founded by signor Ernesto in 1980. Mr. Gennaro, who sold the company to Chanel, is the second largest shareholder and remains in charge of management.

Ripresa's unique technology is characterized by designing patterns such as flowers, trees, and animals, and then dyeing them using the transfer technique, which does not produce wastewater or pollution. It enables the color of natural leather, which is limited to three to five solid colors, to be expressed in more than 50 different colors and patterns.

Ltd. has been researching color transfer dyeing technology for decades and has developed chemical technology that can express various patterns and colors on natural leather, wet polyurethane, and dry artificial leather, and has developed a "natural leather and dye transfer dyeing method without dye bleeding".

In 2005 and 2006, we participated in LINEAPELLE (Natural Leather Fabrics and Leather Goods Accessories Exhibition) in Bologna, Italy, and not only received a great response, but our technology was recognized as the original technology by experts from various European luxury companies, and in 2018, we proudly announced a brand that can compete with various luxury companies in Italy.

With the technology to embed color designs on the original leather, Ripresa launched its own fashion color shoe brand 'RIPRESA' in Italy, entered Amazon, and launched shoes such as 'POLARE', 'EL NATH', and 'SOMMO KIDS'.

Ripresa says the most notable feature is that each shoe has a different pattern. This is due to the fact that multiple shoes are made from a single piece of cowhide. By applying a multicolored pattern to the leather used to make the shoes, the brand differentiates itself from other natural cowhide products that are based on a single color.

All shoes are made to order in the Factory in Florence where also produce Giorgio Armani and Philipp Plein’s Shoes.

Lee Kyungsun, CEO of Ripresa, said that this technology development is a trend change from monochrome to color TVs, just as leather shoes are changing from monochrome to color design shoes....

Ripresa said that it has been developing new material fashion shoes with Italian luxury companies for many years. After launching the brand, it registered the brand as a handmade shoe on Amazon and started marketing in the United States and Japan. He added that the company has launched products in Korea, the United States and Japan and plans to expand its marketing to other countries around the world.

This is even more significant in that it was developed for the first time in the world in a situation where European countries, which can be said to be advanced in the leather field, have not found a solution despite years of efforts, and the effect of the technology development is expected to have a great impact not only on the Korean leather industry but also on the global leather processing market of about 120 trillion won (about 1,300 trillion won when including sewing products). The scale of added value that can be created in the future is expected to be even greater, as many foreign luxury goods companies are currently requesting to sign exclusive supply contracts.

Ripresa to start producing golf shoes at its Florence handmade shoe factory

Representative Lee Kyungsun said that after receiving a proposal for golf shoes from Gensi Group, she met with Mr. Ortelio, CEO of Giorgio Armani Florence, a handmade luxury shoe factory in Uranomarche on the Mediterranean Sea, and started production.

Alfredo Dami, chief designer of Gensi Group (Responsabile Modelleria), after talking with Ripresa CEO Lee Kyungsun, showed his willingness to design the best golf shoes by recognizing the management mindset and Korean Hallyu culture, and promised to produce 500,000 pairs of golf shoes annually at Florence (chief designer Andrea) to supply domestic and foreign duty-free shops and department stores.

Golf shoes designed with colorful colors are well received by fashionistas, and world-class golfers have shown strong determination to participate in LPGA, KLPGA, and PGA competitions wearing Ripresa and SOMMO golf shoes.

Lee Kyungsun takes great pride in her golf shoes, which are made with special technology. Ms. Lee was born in Seoul and majored in simultaneous interpretation at university. After helping her blood relatives with marketing, she was recognized for her management skills and became the CEO of the company, where she is now more motivated and energetic than ever.

Her company, which specializes in golf shoes, won the King Sejong Award for Technology Patents in Korea. Lee is confident that her technology is unique in the world.

The golf shoes made with this technology are directly linked to Lee's future and extend to the hope of Korea. The dream of players excelling in the PGA or LPGA with golf shoes made by his company is a real possibility.

The idea of a shoe made in Italy with leather developed by indigenous Koreans is especially exciting.

The King Sejong Patent Prize is awarded to the best technologists in Korea, so you have to have a unique technology. No chemist or scientist can duplicate it.

Lee's ego was boosted by the fact that a customer who wore the Ripresa golf shoes told him that he could feel the energy radiating from the shoes when he wore them. The customer won the tournament, giving Lee a sense of pride. There are plans to distribute the shoes to national players in the future. The Ripresa golf shoes are 100% waterproof and water-repellent.

They're also scratch-resistant thanks to the rigidity of the leather. Its tortoiseshell-like hardness means that it doesn"t get dirty easily and it"s the best quality leather you can get.

It also has aesthetic value in terms of design. Normally, your foot adapts to the shape of the shoe, but this shoe is light enough to mold to your foot and is very comfortable. It's no wonder that when national athletes compete, their feet are less tired, which gives them an advantage in performing well.

Lee plans to export the shoes to golfers so they can wear them when they compete in world championships, which will promote Korean leather technology, improve the performance of the players, and provide employment for young people through the export market.

Currently, Ripresa produces golf shoes as well as sneakers. The sneakers are made of semi-permanent leather, so they are not polluting, and the colorful colors are well received by fashionistas.

With such a good product, Lee is targeting professional golfers around the world and is currently selling on Amazon. MUST HAVE. It is available on online stores such as Amazon, Must-In, and Valeant, and is actively promoting through celebrity golfers and social media marketing.

They've even started producing golf shoes for young aspiring golfers, so it won't be long before you're hitting the greens in a pair of Ripresa shoes. The company hasn't opened an official store yet, but it will soon showcase its products through pop-up stores. The company is also planning to introduce hiking shoes to hikers who prefer to climb mountains.

Ripresa's shoes are designed to give young people a sense of self-esteem and a unique style that allows them to express themselves well. Just by looking at the design and fresh colors of the shoes, they show modernity and luxury. Ripresa's shoes, which have the luxurious atmosphere of global luxury brands such as Chanel and Armani while expressing youthfulness, have also attracted the attention of celebrities and fashion leaders.

The Italian word "Ripresa" is a reminder of the French Renaissance and the idea of reviving a better culture through fashion. Ripresa has five meanings. It means rebirth, resurrection, movie reenactment, health recovery, and business recovery. The idea was to revive Ripresa through Italian fashion by spreading it around the world.

In addition, the logo means holding hands with each other, and Ripresa is determined to leap into a world-class company with leather products developed with Korean technology through sustainable health and business recovery.
