The Ministry of Science and ICT hosted the “International Streaming Festival 2025” (hereinafter, the Festival)—Korea’s only international event dedicated to the streaming industry (OTT and FAST)—from August 22 to August 25, 2025, at Paradise Hotel Busan and the Busan Cinema Center.

Now in its third year, the Festival co-hosted with Busan Metropolitan City under the theme “Streaming What’s Next.” It is designed to support global business exchange and cooperation for Korean OTT, FAST, content, and AI-media companies—creating opportunities for overseas expansion and investment.

This year’s four-day Festival comprehensively covered the latest trends across OTT, content, and technology—with a focus on AI, FAST, and advertising. To help domestic companies secure investment, the Festival expanded participation by domestic and international investors and launch a new business exchange to link K-FAST channels with overseas advertisers.

Audience-facing programs were also strengthened with Media & Brand Day—OTT-specific public showcases—and a new OST Concert.

The Festival featured: ① Global OTT Awards, which recognize outstanding OTT services, content, media technologies, and artists worldwide; ② Investment Pitch Showcase to connect domestic content pitches and AI/media-tech companies with domestic and overseas investors; and ③ International Streaming Summit, sharing domestic and international OTT/FAST industry trends and strategies. In addition, ④ K-FAST Advertising Business Meet-up, ⑤ Media & Brand Day, ⑥ Series Screenings, and ⑦ OST Concert.
