An international conference co-hosted by Korean Association for Public Value (KAPV) and the Embassy of Morocco in Korea was held at the Museum Auditorium on the main campus of Gyeongsang National University on May 8.
The conference was held under the theme of 'Strengthening Multi-dimensional Cooperation between Korea and Morocco' to explore practical ways of cooperation between the two countries.

Founded in 2020, the KAPV aims to conduct interdisciplinary research on public value and has been publishing the Journal of Public Value twice a year.
In particular, it focuses on the exploration of public value that combines academia and practice, and has been holding academic events in cooperation with public institutions and diplomatic organizations.
This international conference was the second collaboration with the Embassy of Morocco in Korea, and a total of nine papers were presented.
“Under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Morocco has achieved political stability and industrial diversification, and is emerging as a gateway to Africa and a center for renewable energy and high-tech industries,” said Ambassador Chafik Rachadi of Morocco to Korea.
He added, ”Cooperation with Korea in these fields is very important, and we are deeply grateful for the efforts of Gyeongsang National University and the KAPV.”
The papers presented at the conference will be published in a book on the theme of 'Korea and Morocco's Development'. This event, which emphasizes the link between academia and practice, is also of great significance as a basis for strengthening practical cooperation between the two countries.
