This is in response to the growing demand for travel to Vietnam. According to the Korea Tourism Organization, from January to November 2024, 4.13 million out of 25.97 million Korean overseas tourists visited Vietnam, making it one of the most preferred overseas destinations for Koreans.

New route schedule

Expanded service to Vietnam from Busan

Vietnam Airlines already operates n flights from Busan to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and with the addition of Nha Trang, Vietnam Airlines will expand its routes from Busan to three destinations.

“Vietnam Airlines is the only full-service carrier (FSC) on the Vietnam route from Busan, offering business class seats and premium services to differentiate itself from low-cost carriers (LCCs),” said Mr. Nguyen Huy Duc, head of Vietnam Airlines Korea.

Nha Trang, a popular vacation destination
Nha Trang is a warm, year-round coastal city on the south-central coast of Vietnam, known for its beautiful beaches and golf courses. It is also a favorite destination for golfers from around the world, thanks to its affordable rounds of golf.

This new route is expected to attract more tourists to Nha Trang as Korean travelers are increasingly traveling to Vietnam.
