The Damyang Bamboo Festi-val, which will be held for the first time in four years, has changed its name to the “2023 New Bamboo Festival” to leap beyond the local festival to be-come a global one.
Under the theme of "Let's go into the bamboo forest!" all public officials are working hard at the scene to re-exam-ine the value of bamboo and provide tourists with various attractions.

Along with the preparation of various festival programs, the government plans to thorough-ly prepare parking facilities, various convenience facilities, and safety measures to pre-pare tourists' convenience and safety first.
Mayor Lee said, "We are preparing to welcome tourists with more colorful and new programs," adding, "We will do our best to prepare for the rest of the year so that it can be linked to the income of lo-cal residents by focusing on stay-type and profit-type festi-vals."
