On June 26, the “Dunyo” Information Agency reported on a meeting with Lee Jon-young, Publisher-Chairman of the prominent South Korean English magazine “Diplomacy Journal,” who is visiting Uzbekistan to observe and report on the Parliamentary elections, which are scheduled for July 27, the DUNYO news agency reported.
During the meeting, “Dunyo” Information Agency Director Omonulla Fayziev told his South Korean counterpart in detail about the agency's activities and cooperation with leading foreign media on major reforms and large-scale events in Uzbekistan.
During the conversation, the two sides discussed the possibility of establishing closer cooperation between the “Dunyo” news agency and the “Diplomacy Journal” magazine and explored ways of mutual cooperation.
In addition, the two sides shared their experience in spreading information about modern reforms and democratic developments in Uzbekistan and South Korea, and expressed common interest in strengthening cooperation in this area. The meeting was seen as an important opportunity to further develop information exchange and friendly relations between the two countries.
After the meeting, Chairman Lee announced that the November issue of the “Diplomacy Journal” will include an article on the process and results of the parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan, as well as contemporary developments.
In turn, Director Omonulla Faizyev of the Dunyo news agency, agreed to exchange information with Diplomacy Journal in the future.
