Kyrgyzstan's Amb. Ismailova meets with Chungwoon Univ. President Chung

Discusses revitalizing exchanges between Kyrgyzstan and Chungwoon University

President Chung Yoon of Chungwoon University met with Ambassador Aida Ismailova of Kyrgyzstan to Korea on July 22 and discussed how to revitalize international exchanges at the conference room of the university headquarters in Hongseong, Chungcheongnam-do.

 

The main contents included ▲ revitalizing international exchanges such as education and culture ▲ fostering excellent human resources ▲ expanding K-content ▲ and attracting international students.

 

 

“Chungwoon University has been investing heavily in K-content fields such as culture and arts, performance and video, and hotel and culinary arts, and many young people from Central Asia are interested in K-content and knocking on our doors,” said Chung. ”We hope that young people from the Kyrgyz Republic will learn Korean, K-drama, K-food, K-fashion, and other fields at Chungwoon University.”

 

“Most people in the Kyrgyz Republic, young and old, love Korea's diverse culture,” said Ambassador Aida Ismailova, ”and we are impressed by Chungwoon University's green campus, excellent educational facilities, and dormitory facilities. We will work together to foster young talent in both countries.”

 

Ambassador Ismailova was also interested in the campus tour, including the Student Lounge, and the Performing and Visual Arts Camp and Chungwoon Culinary Arts Camp.
