President Jang Young-soo of Pukyong National University and U.S. Ambassador to Korea Philip Goldberg signed a business agreement to open the American Corner.

President Jang Young-soo and Ambassador Philip Goldberg recently signed an MOU at the U.S. Embassy in Seoul to open the 'American Corner' at Pukyung National University in September to provide students and the public with a variety of materials and programs related to American education and culture.

The American Corner is part of the U.S. Embassy's public diplomacy programs around the world, providing information on U.S. history and culture, as well as resources and programs related to study abroad.

Pukyong National University plans to expand its cooperation with the U.S. Embassy through this agreement.
Pukyong National University also launched the 'Korea-Indonesia public university academic network consortium' on the first floor of the Dongwon Jang Bogo Hall on May 23.

The consortium was established as a consultative body to build a platform for continuous academic exchanges, research cooperation, and human exchanges among prestigious public universities in Korea and Indonesia.

Fourteen universities, including Pukyong National University and 13 prestigious Indonesian public universities, participated and signed an agreement to establish the consortium.
