Vietnamese Amb. Vu Ho says, “We will help Korean SMEs enter Vietnam”

At the 'Beyond Korea, a Public-Private Partnership Conference’

Ambassador Vu Ho of Vietnam to Korea, delivered a greeting at the 'Beyond Korea, a Public-Private Partnership Conference to Support SMEs and Venture Companies to Go Global' held at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Seoul on May 22.

 

The event was the first event organized by the public-private partnership to support the overseas expansion of SMEs and venture firms, and Vietnam was selected as the first theme country as there is a high demand for SMEs to expand overseas.

 

 

The government has decided to build a strong foundation for globalization by focusing on discovering and fostering innovative companies and promising products that can compete in the global market and incorporating newly emerging fields such as tech services into policy areas.

 

There was a briefing session to provide information on market and economic trends, legal, accounting, finance, and investment in Vietnam. 

 

The event was attended by more than 100 participants, including Minister of SMEs and Startups Oh Young-joo, Vietnamese Ambassador to Korea Vu Ho, and Shinhan Bank President Chung Sang-hyuk. 

 

The conference was attended by public institutions supporting overseas expansion, such as the Small and Medium Business Administration and KOTRA, and private organizations in various fields, including legal and accounting firms, including Shinhan Bank, as well as the Vietnamese Embassy in Seoul, which provided information on the Vietnamese government's support for overseas companies.
