Busan Mayor Park Hyung-jun meets with French Amb. Philippe Bertoux

To cooperate in various fields such as culture and tourism

Busan City Mayor Park Hyung-jun announced on Feb. 22 that he met with French Ambassador to Korea Philippe Bertoux at the International Conference Room of City Hall on the 23rd to discuss cooperation plans for Busan-France interaction. 

 

Ambassador Philippe Berthoux said, "The French Embassy in Korea will be able to play a bridge role in the interaction between Busan and France." "We expect to cooperate with Busan in various fields such as culture and tourism, cultural contents such as movies and videos, cultural facilities such as art museums, economic trade, and maritime and port."

 

 

Mayor Park said, "Busan and France are expected to be good partners that can cooperate and mutually develop in various fields such as culture and art, economy and trade."

 

Park added, "I expect that this meeting will lead to more active exchange and cooperation between Busan and France, and I hope that Ambassador Philippe Berthoux will return with many good memories of Busan."

 

Ambassador Philippe Bertoux, who was appointed in July last year, attended the 70th anniversary of the Armistice last year and the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG)-Jeonbuk Hyundai match in Busan. This is his first official visit to Busan.
