Chairman Jim Rogers to visit South Korea on Dec. 10

He is scheduled to meet with Unification Minister Kim Yung-ho

Rogers Holdings Chairman Jim Rogers, one of the world's most famous three  investors, will visit South Korea on Dec. 10 and will depart on Dec. 12.

 

Chairman Jim Rogers is coming to Korea at the invitation of the Central Committee of the Bukkwan Victory Monument National Movement, a juridical foundation, to consult on the production of a drama about General Jeong Mun-bu, who defeated the invading Japanese army during the Imjin War in 1592.

 

 

Jim Rogers was also invited to the photo exhibition of General Jeong Mun-bu last year and said at the time, “I want to make General Jeong Mun-bu a global content. I want to become Jeong Mun-bu of the 21sty century and open the door to North Korea.”
 

He also said, "I want to be a hero who saved the country and people like General Jeong Mun-bu, so please call me General Rogers of the 16th century Joseon."

 

After touring the photo exhibition, Jim Rogers, North Korea expert and one of the world's famous top three investors, said, "I admire General Jeong Mun-bu. I want to be a hero like him." 

 

Jim Rogers, who is not only a businessman but also an explorer who has traveled the world on a motorcycle, said, "I want to have a new adventure with General Jeong Mun-bu."
