Kiaf, Korea's largest art fair, and Marie Claire have partnered to launch Marie Claire Kiaf Edition, the official magazine of Kiaf Seoul, and unveiled a beauty pictorial featuring paintings by Yoon Song-ah.

Inspired by the works of seven artists who will be exhibiting at Kiaf Seoul in 2023, the 'Art Core Beauty Scene' pictorial showcases the models' unique and mysterious makeup inspired by Yoon's paintings, highlighting the trendy art collaborations that are emerging these days.

Known for her 'Dreaming Camel' series, artist Yoon Song-ah is loved by her fans for her unique style and artistic expression. The camel series is a unique story that takes place in a dream world beyond the drudgery of reality, giving readers a deeply moving and thought-provoking experience.

The work has been praised for its humorous portrayal of modern people who struggle with various aspects of their lives. "I am very grateful for the interest in my artwork," said Yoon, "The unexpectedly good reviews of my work give me great strength to continue painting for the rest of my life."

Yoon's works will be on display at the G30 Gallery Daon booth, Kiaf Seoul 2023. Yoon is the youngest Korean artist to exhibit her work at the '2013 Carrousel du Louvre Are Shopping' at the Louvre Museum in Paris, where she received the Young Artist Award from France's most prestigious international association, the André Malraux.

Yoon studied Western painting at Hongik University, Department of Painting. She made her debut as the main character in SBS's "English Magic School" in 2005 and has since appeared in the dramas "The Voice Season 3," "Secret Man," "Diamond Hotel," and the movies "Miss Baek" and "The Guy in Me.”

Kiaf is being held at Coex in Seoul from September 6-10, bringing together more than 200 galleries from 20 countries and regions.

As Korea's leading international art exhibition and platform that attracts visitors from all over the world, Kiaf puts the spotlight on young, forward-thinking and dynamic contemporary art, with a focus on Asian art, including outstanding Korean artists.

In particular, Kiaf Seoul will feature a special exhibition on new media art, which will showcase the vibrant Korean media art scene, and the Kiaf PLUS section, which will showcase dynamic and energetic young artists and new media art from around the world, with a focus on Korea.

Now in its 22nd year, Kiaf Seoul takes over the entire first floor of COEX, including Halls A and B and the Grand Ballroom, while Frieze Seoul occupies Halls C and D on the third floor.

The two fairs, through co-host for the first time last year, attracted the attention of the global art world and demonstrated Seoul's incredible potential as an international art hub.

This year, it is taking a step further and working closely with the local government and related organizations to further establish Seoul as a hub for the Asian art market.
