Charge d'Affaires Makoto Morales of Honduras, who visited the Jincheon-gun county office, said on Sept. 4, "I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Gov. Song Gi-seop and the officials for their generous support and unforgettable memories during the Honduran Jamboree members' stay in the county. I would like to continue to discuss ways to deepen the ties between our two countries."

Earlier, the county provided safety management, accommodation, and customized cultural programs to 30 Honduran Jamboree members who entered the Legal Training Institute in Chungbuk Innovation City. It also dispatched resident officials to communicate with them during their stay and actively tried to resolve any difficulties.

During their stay, the Honduran Jamboree members toured major local facilities such as the Jincheon National Athletes' Village and Botapsa Temple, as well as a demonstration performance by the Jincheon Taekwondo Team and a national music performance by the Natural Tune Sound Sharing.

"I was very impressed with the beautiful scenery and surroundings during my stay," said Sara Artica on the day of her discharge last month, "Especially the traditional Korean music performance." "I will never forget your kindness and attention to detail," said Carlos Torres.

Meanwhile, Gov. Song said, "I am very happy that the Honduran side expressed their gratitude for what I did. I hope that today's visit will serve as an opportunity for us to build lasting ties and discuss various ways of cooperation."
