"Busan, with its beautiful natural environment and rich cultural heritage, has the necessary conditions to host the World Expo," said Jo Sumi, the No. 4 PR ambassador of the 2030 Busan Expo Promotion Committee.
In a message of support for Busan Expo sent to the policy briefing, she praised the city's experience in successfully hosting international events such as the Asian Games and international film festivals and expressed confidence that "the generous inclusiveness of Busan citizens will be conveyed to guests from all over the world."
"The International Expo is an opportunity to showcase the charms of Busan, the host city, while showcasing Korea's cultural and technological capabilities to the world," she said, adding, "Please help us make it a festival of the world.“

While I have been performing fiercely and diligently as a musician for the past 37 years, I have watched my country, the Republic of Korea, develop remarkably.
As an ambassador for the World Cup and PyeongChang Winter Olympics, I've been up close and personal with the preparations for the big events.
After being appointed as an ambassador for the Busan Expo in December 2022, I vowed to do my best to do my part as an honorary citizen of Busan.
With its beautiful natural environment and rich cultural heritage, Busan has what it takes to host a World Expo.
We have successfully hosted international events such as the Busan Asian Games and the Busan International Film Festival.
The generosity and inclusiveness of Busan's citizens will be conveyed to guests from all corners of the globe.
An international expo is an opportunity to showcase the charms of the host city, Busan, while showcasing Korea's cultural and technological capabilities to the world.
It can also be a festival of the world's people where we can envision our future together amidst challenges such as climate change and international peace. Busan is ready.
