"Pisco: Spirit of Peru" had a prominent participation in the "Seoul International Wines & Spirits Expo 2025", held from June 26 to 28.
This flagship beverage is “pisco", a grape-based high-quality liquor distilled in Peru, where it was born in the 16th century. Some of the most popular cocktails with pisco include "Pisco Sour" (made also with egg whites and a dash of bitters), as well as "Chilcano" (made with Ginger Ale, lime wedge, or wheel, for garnish).

It is the second time the Embassy of Peru participates in this international expo in collaboration with Korean importer and distributor UPIC. This year, the distinctive and colorful stand attracted a large portion of the event’s visitors.
They were able to purchase bottles at discounted prices and sample pisco in three presentations: Pisco Punch, Chilcano, and "Pisco Highball," the latter created by a specialized bartender who was part of the stand team.
Pisco is offered to the Korean population by sells on-line via GS25 (GS SHOP) under the Tabernero brand that has offered high quality beverages since 1897.
Peru's participation in this fair is part of the intensive trade promotion efforts to promote our national spirit and its delightful taste worldwide.
