The Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Korea took part on May 24 in the international multicultural festival “Busan Global Gathering 2025”, held annually in Busan, the second largest city in the Republic of Korea.

According to the already established tradition, at the festival, Belarus diplomatic mission treated guests to national homemade pastries and honey drinks, also introduce the local community to the culture, history and tourist features of Belarus. For the very young visitors of the festival, coloring books with images of national symbols and landscapes of the country were prepared, which greatly interested the little guests.

Organized annually by the Busan Government and the Busan Global City Foundation, the main multicultural event of the city hosted more than 70 different organizations and public associations from more than 30 countries in 2025.

Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Korea Andrew Chernetsky together with the Spouse took part in the opening and closing ceremonies of the festival.

During the conversation with the Mayor of Busan, the head of the diplomatic mission thanked the organizers for the opportunity to take part in one of the largest cultural events in Korea and introduce Belarusian culture to Korean citizens.
