Presidents of the three countries participated in the event

On March 31 2025, Presidents Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan, Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan, and Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan celebrated the international holiday of Navruz at the '20th Anniversary of Independence of Tajikistan' stadium. The event featured a joint cultural program showcasing artists from all three nations.


President Rahmon, in his address, extended warm Navruz greetings to the visiting heads of state, the people of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, and international guests in Khujand.

 


Highlighting Navruz's significance, President Rahmon emphasized its role as a centuries-old tradition that fosters peace, stability, and cooperation. He further stated that their collaborative efforts aim to leverage Navruz's humanitarian principles for the benefit of current and future generations.


President Rahmon hailed the recently signed treaty on the demarcation of the three countries' borders as a 'historic document,' underscoring their commitment to peaceful dialogue and good neighborly relations built on mutual understanding, respect, and trust.

 


He expressed confidence that the borders would now symbolize 'eternal friendship, genuine neighborliness, and constructive partnership,' and stressed the importance of continued joint efforts in this direction.


Presidents Japarov and Mirziyoyev also delivered congratulatory speeches, conveying their best wishes for Navruz.


The Navruz celebrations at the Central Stadium in Khujand continued with a vibrant cultural program, featuring artisans and artistic performances from Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, demonstrating the strong cultural and spiritual ties between the three nations.


The program, filled with melodies of friendship and goodwill, exemplified the spirit of good neighborliness.
