Dear readers of the Diplomacy Journal,
Modern trends in international developments are characterized by the rapid reconfiguration of the existing world order with the previous system of trade, economic, and political ties being greatly transformed into a new one.

Although the clear picture of the new world order seems deemed for now, we can roughly see its contours, which depend entirely on us and our generation: how capable we are of compromise, dialogue, and whether we can find optimal solutions in a choice of possible options.

In this conditions one of the main goals for us as human beings is to maintain mankind development considering global values as the most important area where we could and should bring our forces together approaching such existential threats as global warming, climate change and mass starvation. We must ensure a close connection with our future generations based on cultural and educational cooperation – to eliminate as much as possible the occurrence of similar conflict situations observed in the world today.

The Republic of Korea has repeatedly served as a model to follow for the entire world community. I am convinced that despite this complicated period, the people of South Korea and the leading political forces will also be able to find the right solutions that will ensure the long-term progressive development of the country and continues to be an example for the rest of the world.

In 2025, the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Korea will make every effort to maintain a stable bilateral dialogue with the Republic of Korea in all areas of cooperation, including trade, political and cultural affairs. Our diplomatic mission will continue to develop joint solutions to strengthen mutually beneficial partnership for the benefit of the peoples of Belarus and Korea.
