In commemoration of the 32nd anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Kazakhstan, the 51st International Cultural and Art Exchange Exhibition will be held from Oct. 30 to Nov. 5, on the second floor of the Korea Art Museum in Insa-dong, Seoul.
Celebrating the deep cultural ties and exchanges between the two countries, the exhibition brings together Korean and Kazakh photographs and artworks, both traditional and contemporary.
The event is co-hosted by Nurgali Arystanov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Korea, and Lee Jon-young, Chairman of the Diplomatic Journal, and is jointly organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Seoul and the Diplomatic Journal.
The exhibition will include an awards ceremony on Nov. 1 at 3:00 pm. Ambassadors from seven countries, including the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Korea, will attend the ceremony to congratulate the prize winners.
The event is co-organized by the K-Culture Promotion Foundation and the World Peace Art Exhibition Steering Committee, and is co-sponsored by Damwha Media Group, the monthly Diplomatic Journal, the Internet daily Diplomacy Journal, the UN Journal, Citizen's Administration Newspaper, Economy Seoul, K-Folk Painting, K-Culture, Korea Culture, World Peace Art Exhibition Organizing Committee, Damwha Cultural Promotion Foundation, K-Culture Promotion Foundation, and the Korean Masters Association.
