Dear readers of the Diplomacy Journal,

 

It is indeed a privilege to serve as the Turkish Ambassador in this beautiful country, with whom we describe our relations as “blood brothers”.  Me and my family have been filled with joy for the warm reception and enduring friendships that have blossomed throughout the past year.

 


In spirit of unity, friendship, fraternity and collaboration, I look forward to the coming year as an opportunity to further strengthen the bonds between Türkiye and the Republic of Korea. Our two great nations have a rich historical and cultural ties, and it is my sincere hope that the upcoming year will witness the flourishing of these ties across various dimensions.

I strongly believe that there will be a significant acceleration in the steps to be taken towards fulfilling the potential of our bilateral relations in every aspect. We will keep working tirelessly to achieve this. With high level visits and contacts and joint projects, our working agenda will be quiet busy in 2024.

Diplomacy is not merely about political discourse; it is about fostering connections, understanding one another, and building bridges that withstand the test of time. In 2024, let us embark on a journey of shared prosperity, innovation, and cultural exchange. May our collaboration extend to new horizons, encompassing trade, technology, education, and beyond.

To the people of Republic of Korea, I express my deepest appreciation for the hospitality and warmth they have shown. May the New Year bring joy, health, and prosperity to each household, and may our shared endeavors contribute to a world that values unity in diversity.
