The Embassy of Peru in Korea will organize the longest traveling exhibition of Peruvian traditional handicraft “Pucará Bull: Ambassador of the Peruvian Highlands” in the Seoul City Hall from November 8 to 24 with the support of the Metropolitan Government of Seoul.

The famous exhibition has already been presented in more than 22 cities around the world, the Embassy of Peru in Korea said.

The “Pucará Bulls” constitutes a highly appreciated cultural good, product of the fusion between the Andean and Western cultures. They are normally located on the ceilings of the houses to protect and bring good luck and happiness to the people living there, just like the symbology of the ancient Haechi of Korea.

The exhibition is made up of different pieces made by ten artisan associations from the city of Pucará in the Puno Region, located in southern Peru around Lake Titicaca, and special designs made and painted by Korean artists.
