Joins as the national unity singer 'Hero'

The organizing committee of 'The Fact Music Awards (TMA)' announced on Sept. 13, "Singer Im Young-woong has been added to the 5th lineup of '2023 The Fact Music Awards'.

 

Im Young-woong has achieved remarkable success with his second self-composed song, 'Grain of Sand,' released in June. The song has stayed for a total of 11 weeks on the Billboard 'Global (excluding the US)' chart and continues to maintain its top position on domestic music charts even after three months since its release, enjoying steady popularity.

 

 

Based on a strong fan base spanning various age groups, Im Young-woong continuously breaks records with over tens of millions of video views daily. He has also firmly established himself as the top solo artist in the country by winning numerous awards at various award ceremonies.

 

Furthermore, he has made waves in the music industry as the 'OST King,' following the success of KBS 2TV drama 'Gentleman and Lady,’ 'Love Always Fleeing' and 'Our Blues' OST.

 

Celebrating his 7th debut anniversary this year, Im Young-woong will kick off the 2023 nationwide concert tour 'IM HERO' on Oct. 27 in Seoul, embarking on a journey that will span approximately 4 months.

 

With each activity, Im Young-woong has been rewriting the history of the music industry, leading the 'Im Young-woong Syndrome,' and he plans to continue his upward trajectory through the '2023 The Fact Music Awards.'

 

Previously, '2023 The Fact Music Awards' had announced the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th lineups, featuring artists such as ATEEZ, ITZY, TREASURE, NMIXX, Zerobase One, xikers, Boy Next Door, Kwon Eun Bi, JANNABI, aespa, IVE, New Jeans, SEVENTEEN, and Stray Kids, raising expectations for the "dream stage."

 

This year's 'The Fact Music Awards' red carpet and main ceremony can also be viewed online. In Korea, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand, you can watch it through the Idol Plus app and website.

 

In Japan, you can watch the live broadcast from the red carpet to the prize-awarding ceremony through the video transmission service Lemino, and the ceremony can be enjoyed on the TV music channel MUSIC ON! TV (M-ON!).

 

With the participation of South Korea's top solo artist, who continues to make strides globally, the '2023 The Fact Music Awards' is raising the excitement for its upcoming event, scheduled to be held on October 10 at Incheon Namdong Gymnasium. The red carpet will start at 4:30 PM, and the main prize-awarding ceremony will begin at 6:30 PM.
