In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Korea-Pakistan diplomatic relations, the Pakistani Embassy in Korea held a "Rhythms of Pakistan" concert in collaboration with the National Museum of Korea on Aug. 11, 2023.
Some 500 participants, including ambassadors, senior diplomats and staff members of foreign embassies in Korea, and general visitors to the National Museum of Korea, attended the music concert held at the museum in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

Delivering welcoming remarks, Ambassador Nabeel Munir of Pakistan to South Korea said, "This concert is designed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of official diplomatic relations between Pakistan and South Korea. This concert is also part of events celebrating the 76th anniversary of Pakistan's Independence Day, which falls on Aug. 14.”

"Related to this, we invited a famous Pakistani singer Ali Abbas to this music concert. Ali Abbas, also television and film actor, and a four-member band will present Pakistan's beautiful folk and traditional music to participants in the Pakistani concert.”

The performance by the famous singer Ali Abbas and the four-member band received a lot of applause from the foreign and domestic audience.
